It's 8:23 PM already.DHSCHOIR, no regrets aight. It was so heartbreaking, to see tears of joy and tears of sadness all at the same time. I'm sure we did well, we all thought we sounded so awesome on stage. The teachers were proud of us, the juniors were proud of us, we were proud of ourselves. I was trying to remain calm when we bowed after our last song. When i saw others crying, i really couldn't hold those tears anymore. Tears of joy, i was so happy then cos it was like our best performance ever. I was so touched by our peformance cos i really never heard the choir sing such a beautiful piece. If you were to tell me the result doesn't matter and all that matters is the experience and that we've enjoyed ourselves and done our best, if you were to tell me not to be so sad over this because it's just syf, i would like you to eat your shoe. Because i know the simple-mindedness of human beings and trust me, i know how many people look down on choir. I know many of you out there think that we're silver standard and it will always remain like this, and i wanted so badly to prove everyone wrong today. So many tears today, i'm sure they could flood a swimming pool already. So many cried, because we didn't know whether to be sad or happy for ourselves. When i saw people cry, i cried even more. I didn't know what to feel, i didn't know what the tears were for. Thank you all those who tried to cheer me up, am feeling a bit better now. I promise i'll be in good form tomorrow okay. So tired right now, physically and mentally. It's 10pm and i haven't started on bio. Shall go and sleep for awhile first cos my eyes hurt. Bye. With love, Me |
